Women’s tennis drops matches to Coe, Cornell

The Simpson women's tennis team saw its perfect start to the 2015 season come to a close as it fell to Coe 9-0 and Cornell 8-1 on Saturday.

Kelli Greiner was the lone Storm player to push their opponent to a third set against the Kohawks as Coe improved to 4-1 and a perfect 3-0 in conference play.

The Storm (4-2) then made the short trip from Cedar Rapids to Mount Vernon where it suffered a similar result against the Rams (4-3).

The duo of Kelli Ehrhardt and Sidney Griffith defeated Cornell's Gracie Benton and Anne Seng 8-2 for Simpson's only win in its second match of the day.
