Women's tennis begins play at IIAC AQ Tournament today

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Simpson women's tennis team begins play at the Iowa Conference AQ Tournament this afternoon.

The sixth-seeded Storm will face third-seeded Wartburg at Veterans Memorial Tennis Center. Start time is set for 4 p.m.

The winner advances to play second-seeded Luther at 9 a.m. Saturday morning, also at Veterans Memorial Tennis Center.

The tournament champion receives the Iowa Conference's automatic berth into the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships, which begin May 7 or 8.

Match 1: No. 6 Simpson vs. No. 3 Wartburg, 4 p.m.
Match 2: No. 5 Loras vs. No. 4 Central, 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 25
Match 3: Loras/Central winner at No. 1 Coe, 9 a.m. (Clark Raquet Center)
Match 4: Simpson/Wartburg winner vs. No. 2 Luther, 9 a.m. (Veterans Memorial Tennis Center)
Championship: Match 3 winner vs. Match 4 winner, 1:30 p.m. (Clark Raquet Center)
