Luther downs Kelli contingent and Simpson, 8-1

GRINNELL, Iowa – The Kelli contingent of Kelli Greiner and Kelli Ehrhardt put Simpson on the board early but Luther still prevailed by the score of 8-1.

The eighth win of the season for the Kelli's came at the expense of the Luther duo of Adriana DePaolis and Molly Brown, 8-4, in the No.2 doubles spot. Ehrhardt and Greiner also fought the good fight but couldn't quite pick up the win in their respective No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches against Myers, 6-1, 4-6, 10-7 and Heitz, 6-0, 4-6, 10-7, respectively.

Simpson resumes play Tuesday in the friendly confines of the Buxton Tennis Complex against Cornell College.
