Ehrhardt continues to roll in wake of loss

GRINNELL, Iowa – Kelli Ehrhardt tallied the lone win in singles play and narrowly missed out on win number two in doubles as the Simpson women's tennis team sustained an 8-1 loss to Wartburg on Saturday afternoon.

The Kelli contingent containing the aforementioned Ehrhardt and Kelli Greiner couldn't quite make a dent in the Knights' armor after dropping an 8-6 decision in No. 2 doubles to Katherine Ross and Emily Rasmussen. The loss fueled Ehrhardt's fire as she went on to earn her team-leading seventh win of the season after defeating Emily Rasmussen, 6-2, 6-3 in No. 3 singles.

The Storm keep it local as they host former IIAC member Cornell College this upcoming Tuesday at the Buxton Tennis Complex.
