Women’s soccer to host Pediatric Cancer Awareness Game on Saturday

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson women's soccer team will host a Pediatric Cancer Awareness Game on Saturday, Sept. 17 when the Storm host Westminster at Buxton Stadium. Start time is set for 5 p.m.

Local youth soccer teams are strongly encouraged to this event, intended to raise awareness and support research for pediatric cancer. There is no admission to the game, and youth soccer players in attendance will be invited to take the field at halftime.

Fans can support the cause in the following ways:

1. Wear purple and gold to show Indianola pride and support pediatric cancer awareness.Official warm-up shirts will also be available for purchase.
2. Bring a donation which will be collected at the ticket gate. No admission will be charged. 
3. Purchase raffle tickets for a special drawing to take place during the game.
4. Take the field at halftime for fun games!

All donations go to the For Kids' Sake Foundation and Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer.
