DUBUQUE, Iowa - Lydia Storm scored two goals and assisted on another as Clarke beat the Simpson women's soccer team 4-0 on Wednesday.
Storms scored in the 11th minute and assisted on Devan Stiber's goal in the 30th as the Crusaders (2-6) got out to a 3-0 lead in the first 45 minutes.
Storms closed the scoring in the 86th minute to keep the Storm (0-7) in search of their first win.
Kristin Riley had 11 saves and Lauren Stillman took two shots for Simpson, which ended a tough, five-match road swing.
Simpson hosts Westminster at Indianola Middle School on Friday, Sept. 19. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
