INDIANOLA, Iowa - Jessica Kern scored twice and assisted on another goal and the Loras defense held Simpson to four shots in a 5-0 win on Saturday at Buxton Stadium.
Kern scored the second and fourth goals for the No. 12 Duhawks (12-2-1, 5-0-1 Iowa Conference). She assisted on Kate Young's first goal of the game, which came in the 10th minute.
Tonya Lohmeyer and Danielle Vujovic also scored for Loras, which held a 3-0 lead at the half.
Nicole Dillenburg took three shots for the Storm (9-5-2, 3-3), who attempted four as a team.
Megan Petersen made nine saves.
The Storm take the pitch next on Wednesday, Oct. 19 when they host Central (9-5, 2-3) at Buxton Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
