Bio

Brooks Vander Kopsa enters his first season as an assistant wrestling coach at Simpson in 2016-17. Vander Kopsa has coached at Waukee High School for the past four seasons and prior to that was a high school and middle school coach at Casady School in Oklahoma City. 

Vander Kopsa was a four-year letterwinner on the wrestling team at the University of Iowa from 2006-11, graduating from Iowa with a bachelor's degree in economics. 

Vander Kopsa and his wife, Hannah, reside in Winterset, Iowa.
