Elliott, Galloway pick up wins against Central

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Wrestling at home for the final time in this season, the Simpson College men's wrestling team fell 43-9 to No. 17 Central.

Caden Elliott earned his team-leading sixth pin of the year over Austin Roos in the 174-pound matchup, while Troy Galloway closed the night with a 1-0 victory over Hayden Hearne in the heavyweight match.

Central (12-4, 4-4 A-R-C) picked up two forfeits, three technical falls, three pins and a major decision in the other eight matches.

UP NEXT
Simpson is off until Feb. 24 when the Storm travel to Dubuque for back-to-back days of competition. The team will face Dubuque in their final dual of the season on Friday before competing at the Jim Fox Open on Saturday.
