Storm wrestlers recognized for academic excellence

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson wrestling team was recognized by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) for its work in the classroom during the 2014-15 academic year.

The Storm earned NWCA Scholar All-America team honors by posting a team GPA above 3.0. Simpson's 3.13 GPA tied for 38th among Division III schools. Sophomore criminal justice and international relations major Clay Harris was a member of the Iowa Conference All-Academic Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA greater than 3.5.

Simpson went 7-11 in dual competition during the 2014-15 season, the program's most wins since 2005-06.
