Storm jump to 10th after day two in Storm Lake
STORM LAKE, Iowa - Haley Booton tied her season-best round and Simpson jumped three spots to 10th place on the final day of the Buena Vista Fall Invitational on Saturday.
The Storm shot 354, 16 strokes better from day one. Simpson's total of 724 placed them 10th out of 16 teams and stayed two strokes behind ninth-place William Penn (B) from the first day. No one could knock Briar Cliff out of first place (646) and Iowa Western CC came in a close second (649).
Haley Booton came in on top for the Storm carding an 84 and tied her season best. Booton's total of 171 tied her in 13th place, jumping five spots from day one. Des Moines CC's Jaime Bellingham remained in first place after the tournament ending eight strokes over par.

The women's golf team stays on home turf to host the one-day Simpson Invitational on Wednesday, Sept. 27. Tee off is at 10 a.m.
