Women's golf takes third at Graceland

LAMONI, Iowa - Led by a top-ten finish by Lydia Martin, the Simpson women's golf team placed third of seven teams at the Graceland Invitational on Saturday.

Martin carded an 86 on the par 72, 5,806-yard layout at Lamoni Country Club, shooting 43 on the front and back nine. She tied for sixth in the 40-person tournament, 12 strokes back of individual medalist Marisa Pribnow (Peru State). 

Grand View won the team competition with a one-round total of 333. Simpson shot 375, behind Peru State (345) and six in front of Missouri Valley (381).

Kelsa Berkland shot a 94 to tie for 13th, Coltyn Hunter shot 97 to tie for 17th and Courtney Mabeus shot 98 to tie for 19th. Maddie Berkley carded a 108 to round out Simpson's finishers.
