Softball trip to Texas cancelled
INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson softball team's season-opening trip to Texas scheduled for Feb. 24-25 has been cancelled due to excessive rain and unplayable field conditions in Texas.
The Storm were scheduled to play a doubleheader with the University of Dallas on Saturday and Texas Wesleyan on Sunday. The games will not be rescheduled.
Simpson now opens the season at the PFX Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. on Saturday, March 3.
