KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Simpson softball team continued to roll through the early part of its 2013 schedule with wins over Thomas More (3-0) and Illinois College (11-2, 6 innings) on Monday at the Rebel Spring Games.
Simpson improved to a perfect 12-0 on the year, including a 6-0 mark at the Spring Break tournament.

Kacee Arey threw a one-hit shutout and Emma Negrete tripled and scored twice for the Storm.
Simpson 11, Illinois College 2 (6 innings)
Hailey Jensen went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Katlyn Ernst picked up the win to lead the Storm. Negrete went 3-for-3 and Chelsea Winegard went 3-for-4 as the two combined to score seven runs.
Simpson will face Bluffton and Trine on Tuesday.
