Simpson to host NCAA Regional softball
INDIANOLA, Iowa – For the second year in a row Simpson College and the Simpson Softball Complex will serve as one of eight sites for the regional round of the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
Simpson will serve as host for the Midwest Region, where the first round will take place March 13-17 in Indianola.
The NCAA Division III Softball Championship features a 60-team field, with eight teams playing at six sites and six teams playing at two sites. The qualifying teams will be announced Monday, May 10 at 11 a.m. on NCAA.com.
