Simpson to host second cross country meet Friday

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Due to poor course conditions at Water Works Park in Des Moines, the Viking Invitational scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16 will now be run at Pickard Park in Indianola, co-hosted by Simpson and Grand View. The women's race is set to get underway at 5 p.m. with the men to follow at approximately 5:45.

This marks the second collegiate cross country meet of the season held at Pickard Park. The first was the Bill Buxton Invitational on Sept. 2.
