Storm blanked by Central in conference action

PELLA, Iowa - The Simpson College men's tennis team fell to Central in American Rivers Conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

The Dutch (7-8, 2-1 A-R-C) took all three doubles points, but the Storm (3-9, 1-2 A-R-C) were in all three matches, winning at least four games in each, but the Dutch got a couple crucial breaks of serve to take a 3-0 lead into singles.

Grant Love forced a tiebreaker in the first set of his match at No. 6 singles, but fell in straight sets. Aaron Price and Ethan Humble each forced 12 games in a set in their two matches, but the Dutch won each of the six singles matches to claim the win.
