Three earn ITA Scholar-Athlete award

INDIANOLA, Iowa – A trio of Simpson men's tennis players recently earned recognition for their work in the classroom from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

Rising junior Gabe Dubberke (Nevada, Iowa) and Geoff Converse (Storm Lake, Iowa) and senior Zach Kusick (Westminster, Colo.) achieve ITA Scholar-Athlete status for the 2014-15 academic year. Qualifying individuals are varsity letterwinners who achieved a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

All members of the 2015 ITA All-Academic Teams and ITA Scholar-Athletes will receive a certificate to recognize the achievement.
