Men's tennis falls to Luther in IIAC Tournament

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Simpson's first trip to the Iowa Conference Tournament since 2007 began with a 5-0 loss to Luther on Friday afternoon.

The sixth-seeded Storm (7-13) will face fifth-seeded Buena Vista in the tournament's fifth-place match Saturday at 9 a.m. The Beavers (5-13) lost to fourth-seeded Central 5-0 in the first round.

The Norse (23-6) swept doubles play and took Nos. 5 and 6 singles to advance. Luther will play Wartburg in the tournament semifinals Saturday.
