Nelson breaks two school records at Grinnell
GRINNELL, Iowa -- Noah Nelson broke two school records to lead the Simpson men's swimming and diving teams at Grinnell's Pioneer Classic, which concluded Saturday.
The Storm scored 229 points to place eighth in the field of nine teams. Gustavus Adolphus won the meet with 1,716.5 points.
Meet Highlights
Nelson broke his own school records in both the 100 and 200 IM, taking third in all three IM events. He touched the wall in 55.42 in 100 IM, finished in 2:00.00 in the 200 IM and finished in 4:20.77 in the 400 IM.
Ryan Gaumer had Simpson's other top-15 finish, taking 13th in the 50 freestyle (22.63).
