IIAC Performers of the Week

A senior forward from Pierre, S.D., Pochop scored three goals and had three assists as the Storm went 2-0-1 last week to remain unbeaten on the season. The conference honor is the third of Pochop's illustrious career.

Pochop began the week with a goal and an assist in Simpson's 4-1 win at Bethel on Wednesday. He went on to have a hand in all three goals in the Storm's 3-2 win over Central on Saturday, assisting on two goals and converting the game-winning penalty kick in overtime. He closed the week with one goal in a 2-2 draw at Augustana.

The reigning Iowa Conference Offensive MVP has led the Storm to a 9-0-1 record this season, scoring 10 goals and handing out a team-high five assists. His goal in Wednesday's 3-0 win over Iowa Wesleyan gave him 42 for his career, tying Simpson's career record.

Storm players have won 3 of 4 Offensive Player of the Week awards this season. Tanner Alderson won the award for the weeks ending Sept. 3 and Sept 17.
