Storm finish season at A-R-C Championships

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The Simpson College men's golf team finished its season on Saturday after competing in the three-day American Rivers Conference Championships. The Storm shot a four-round sum of 1,433 to place ninth.

Nebraska Wesleyan won the A-R-C Championships with a 1,198 for their third consecutive title, as the championships were cancelled in 2020. Loras' Jacob Peiser was crowned the medalist after carding a 290 at Finkbine Golf Course.

In just his second collegiate event, Reed Worth paced the squad with a 353. Worth shot an 86 on Friday for the team's lowest round score at the event. Lucas Hemphill and Isaac Roe both carded a 361 to tie in 40th.

Brendan Bayeur recorded two rounds of 88 to secure 44th with a 371. Konner Johnson had a three-round total of 283 to cap off his career for Simpson. Brady Berkey filled in for Johnson in the final round with a 107.
