Lindenman leads field at Dubuque after first day
DUBUQUE, Iowa – Trent Lindenman carded a 2-over 72 to lead all golfers after the first day of the Dubuque Fall Invitational.
Simpson sits in second place as a team after shooting 310 at Dubuque Golf and Country Club on Saturday. The Storm trail Clarke by one stroke and lead third-place Loras by five.
Lindenman enters Sunday's final round with a two-stroke lead over Ned Rohrbach of Carleton. Andy Hutchins shot a 5-over 77, tying him for fourth and giving Simpson two players in the top 10.
Shaan Desai is tied for 11th (79), Nathan Molstead is tied for 23rd (82) and Korbin Sesker is tied for 29th (84).
The 36-hole tournament concludes Sunday.
