Simpson adds two to football staff

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- Simpson head football coach Matt Jeter has announced the addition of Grant Rohach and Bill Queisert to the Storm coaching staff for the 2018 season.

A Division I quarterback at Iowa State and Buffalo, Rohach comes to Simpson from Grand View and will coach the quarterbacks. Previously the assistant offensive line coach at Missouri State, Queisert will coach the offensive line at Simpson.

"I'm fired up to welcome Grant Rohach and Bill Queisert to the Storm football staff," Jeter said. "They are outstanding young coaches who will make an immediate impact to our football program. Both are passionate about academics and have proven to be outstanding recruiters. Above all else they are men of high character who are motivated to help Storm football compete for championships."

The Storm return five all-conference players from last year's team that went 5-5, a two-game improvement from the previous season. Simpson opens the 2018 season in front of the home crowd at Buxton Stadium on Sept. 1 against Bethel.

Grant Rohach — Quarterbacks Coach

A native of Moorpark, Calif., Rohach helped the Vikings to a 9-3 record and a Heart of America Conference North Division championship in 2017. He transferred to Buffalo for his final year of eligibility, appearing in nine games for the Bulls. He currently plays quarterback for the Iowa Barnstormers of the Indoor Football League.

Bill Queisert — Offensive Line Coach

A native of Kansas City, Mo., Queisert comes to Simpson after successful stints at Missouri State University and his alma mater, William Jewell College. Queisert spent the 2017 season as the assistant offensive line coach and quality control coordinator for the Division I (FCS) Bears. Prior to that he spent three seasons as the offensive line coach and a graduate assistant at William Jewell. He also spent time as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.
