Bio

The 2020-21 season marks Taylor Witzel's third as Simpson's head athletic trainer. 

Witzel comes to Simpson after two years at Ankeny Physical Therapy. There, he served as the full-time athletic trainer for Ankey High School. He was responsible for practice and school-sponsored event coverage for all home events in addition to road varsity football games. Prior to that he worked as an athletic trainer for Physiotherapy Associates, providing sport event coverage for area teams.

He graduated from Simpson with degrees in athletic training and exercise science. He was also a member of the Storm wrestling team.
