Bio

The 2020-21 season marks Cal Busby's 10th as an athletic trainer at Simpson and sixth as Program Director of Athletic Training.

Busby serves as the primary athletic trainer for the men's soccer team and is also a faculty member in the Department of Sport Science and Health Education.

A 2009 graduate of Simpson, Busby is NATABOC certified and a state licensed athletic trainer. He completed his undergraduate coursework from Simpson with degrees in Athletic Training and History. Upon graduation, he began the Simpson Master of Arts in Teaching program, which he completed in December 2011. 

Busby and his wife, Jamie, reside in Indianola with their son, Gus.
