A 1999 graduate, Leman ran behind Head during Simpson’s conference titles in 1996 and 1997. The two-time All-American running back earned Iowa Conference MVP honors in 1998 after running for 1,788 yards (second in program history). His 3,281 career rushing yards ranks third. Leman holds the IIAC record with 31 touchdowns during the 1998 season, including a record seven against Luther. Leman was an Academic All-American  and played in the Aztec Bowl (Division III All-Star game) in 1998. Leman earned an environmental science degree from Simpson and now works for Nationwide/Allied Insurance in Des Moines as a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter. Guy and his wife, Abby, have three children: daughters Ruby (3) and Georgia (2) and son, Warner (five months).
