#StormTop10 Moments No. 6: Men's cross country posts second-best regional finish since 1996

The Storm men's cross country team had one of its best performances of the season on the biggest stage, placing 13th of 30 teams at the season-ending NCAA Central Region Championship in Northfield, Minn. on Nov. 12.

The performance matched Simpson's 2015 effort, tying for the program's second-best finish at a regional meet since 1996. The only time Simpson has placed higher in that span was in 2011 when the Storm took 11th.

A pair of seniors paced the Storm followed by a quintet of underclassmen.

Blake Willadsen led the team for the second year in a row, placing 46th in the field of 207. Ethan Pellegrino wasn't far behind in 69th place, the best regional finish of his career.

Behind the senior duo were sophomore Trey Thompson (70th), junior Ian McKenzie (85th), freshmen Levi Lefebure (103rd) and Luke Evans (123rd) and sophomore Logan Egeland (127th).
