#StormTop10 Moments No. 7: Men's basketball comes back to beat Central in closing seconds

In the midst of a four-game losing streak and trailing Central by 12, things didn't look good for the Storm men's basketball team Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Cowles Fieldhouse.

But Sabonis Smith nailed a 3 from the right wing to tie the score at 61-all with 1:11 to play and Austin Turner hit the game-winner with 9 seconds left as the Storm beat the Dutch 64-63, capping an improbable comeback.

Simpson closed the game on a 13-4 run over the final four minutes. After Smith's 3, Turner went 1-for-2 at the line but Central re-took the lead on a pair of Colby Taylor free throws.

Turner took the inbound pass out of the timeout and went right at the Central defense, using just enough touch to get a roll off the back iron. Central's Trayshawn Boyd saw an opening on a broken play at the other end, but his contested layup was too strong.
